Bob and Jeff’s relationship is threatened when Jeff has a crisis over whether he and Bob are too settled and boring, so they go on holiday to Malta to try and patch up their differences. But the trip goes horribly wrong when Jeff goes sightseeing without Bob and ends up having to spend the night with the mysterious Terri.
If this isn’t enough, Bob’s sister Nona is having problems with her husband Arthur, his other sister Lois is pregnant and their mother is unaware that the straight and narrow is not the life for her son. However, it is up to the family to rally round and rescue the situation when Bob and Jeff return not speaking to each other.
